  • Overview

    As our new Senior Graphic designer, you are a competent professional able to support our Marketing & Communications department. This individual must possess the ability to follow company brand guidelines and templates, as well as work on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment, while producing high quality collateral and web design from the draft stage to the production stage. Candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be detailed oriented and a well-organized self-starter.

    • Design collateral to support all company communication channels (print, email and digital). This will include working on a project from concept to execution, including print & digital production (video editing a plus)
    • Help advance all of our design elements and develop standard layouts.
    • Ensure all design work consistently meets established brand guidelines.
    • Support the Marketing Team in all aspects of marketing communication activities and to occasionally take on other tasks to assist team members when appropriate.
    • Source and execute company photo shoots, product photography and retouching as needed.

    You will be working in a fun and fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once; involving and learning from multi-disciplinary colleagues.

    Additionally, you will be charged with bringing to life and producing the messaging and marketing for new launches.


    Duties and Responsibilities


      • Campaign Development and Execution: Together with the team, contribute to develop innovative strategies and campaigns that will drive and proactively maintain an open communications channel with customers (i.e. sweepstakes, events, SM).
      • Creative Development and Direction: Conceive and execute copy, graphic design, production and imagery direction that will enhance the look and feel of our brand and achieves cut-through communication to achieve our objectives.
      • Customer Conscious. Making sure that our proposals, materials and designs resonate with our diverse customers.
    • Budget Management: In partnership with the Director – Marketing, track, manage and report on budget utilization for the graphics area ensuring costs and vendors are managed and paid in a timely manner.


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design / Graphic Arts or equivalent years of related experience
    • 5-10+ years previous Graphic Design Experience in a leadership role
    • Strong ability to build or follow brand guidelines, create visually impactful templates and ensure all work follows these guidelines.
    • Multi-channel design and campaign development, from print, to collateral or Digital & email design skills, CMS experience preferred (i.e. Wordpress, Sitefinity a plus)
    • Self-motivated, hardworking, well-organized, self-starter.
    • Extraordinary attention to detail.
    • Ability to filter, supervise and mentor Jr. Designers’ deliverables.
    • Mentally and operationally curious (it is as important to be creative, as it is to understand how our services and products work, in order to better communicate and showcase them).
    • Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment, including the ones “from concept to execution”.
    • Proficiency in Mac environment from Freehand to Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator for print design (low and high resolution files).
    • Intermediate to advanced HTML knowledge and other web development software.
    • Comfortable managing Mac compatible Office suite, outlook, word, power point, excel.
    • Excellent communicator with a desire to improve processes.
    • Proactive Seeks out new assignments when finished with projects.
    • Interpersonal skills to nurture excellent work & approvals in cross-functional team
    • Highly personable, energetic, proactive, team-player.
    • Execute product photography and retouching as needed.
    • Resourceful in connecting the company with specialized vendors to grasp latest trends, software, image banks, give-away promotional materials, latest production techniques, etc.
    • Exceptional communication and writing skills in English and in Spanish (a must)

    Work schedule is Monday to Friday; 40 hours a week. Weekend availability sporadic and just when needed during peak seasons (events seasons, planned efforts, with only remote connectivity).
