    We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts.  You will play an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach our targets, from brand awareness to product promotion.

     

    Responsibilities

    As our new Marketing Specialist, you are a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth.

    You will support the Marketing Team in delivering a customer-focused approach to growing our revenue and profit through strategy development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will also conduct complex data analysis that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company.

    You will be working in a fun and fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once; involving and learning from multi-disciplinary colleagues.

    Additionally, you will be charged with crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new launches.

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

      • Revenue Generation: Drive, through your day-to-day activities, our brand advocacy while also driving year-over-year growth in revenue, customer acquisition, retention, up-sell and recovery.
      • State Strategies: In partnership with Regional and District Sales management, develop and execute trade marketing strategies to capture growth opportunities in assigned strategic states.  Ensure tracking/reporting of results and foster an environment of constant improvement.
    • Budget Management: In partnership with the Director – Marketing, track, manage and report on budget utilization ensuring costs are managed and vendors are paid in a timely manner.

     

    • Campaign Development and Execution: Develop innovative strategies and campaigns that will drive and proactively maintain an open communications channel with customers (i.e. sweepstakes, events, SM).
    • Creative Development and Direction: Provide copy, graphic design and imagery direction that will enhance the look and feel of our brand and communicates effectively to achieve its objectives.
    • Serves as the accountable project manager for diverse functions, from decision-making to administrative, in a variety of efforts: retail activities, customer engagement promotions, company held events, Customer Service, etc.
    • Represents the voice of our customers within the organization in creating and ensuring the best possible experience.
    • Analyze and report on marketing data (e.g., campaign results, consumer behavior, etc.) to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization, helping to shape future marketing strategies
    • Establish & maintain scalable processes to ensure best practices in campaign management.
    • Manage external vendor relationships.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or business (preferred).
    • 1-3+ years previous corporate work experience, Retail or Trade Marketing preferred
    • Candidate must have a strong mix of analytical skills and strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to drive business results.
    • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel, in addition with other database analysis tools.
    • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
    • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day to reach marketing goals.
    • Interpersonal skills to nurture excellent work & approvals in cross-functional team
    • Well organized, detail oriented, driving flawless execution.
    • Very strong Project Management skills.
    • Highly personable, energetic, proactive, team-player, self-starter.
    • Exceptional communication and writing skills in English and in Spanish (a must)
